1) Darrel Scott’s “Title of the Song” – a renowned country song writer (for the hacks and shills drooling over demographic based music) approaches the complexity of writing that fluff so he can afford to write his own bluegrass. This song makes fun of the country world, in that all you need is “the title of the song” to sound good, etc…. he pretty much tears it up. Warning, this is country.

2) The Economist’s entry on the insanity and culture of bugaboo (my word, not their’s) in regards to the health care crazies, conspiracy nutjobs, and the extremes that can tear up the fabric of the US.  I was going to link this to all the twitter accounts trying it to go viral by saying “Bill O’Reilly wants bad to happen to US for ratings” or something, but why cause more cultural panic than there already is.

Hope this tepid, incredibly lose connection between two articles is enough to say…. it was worth it.  Well was it?
