It’s an experiment.

I am trying, unlike all these morons who think privacy exists, or matters, to live 100% in the open. Aka that means people who I know stalk me like my sister don’t have to work so hard at it. But what’s more important, actually, is that I am trying to prove to people that privacy is a red herring, we define freedoms incorrectly nowadays… and no one is really that interesting. If you go on my Google Profile, there are 100’s of links. At a certain point it just becomes overwhelming and boring and “oh, this person is a dullard wasting my time”. I hope it gets us past the overarching narcissism of the internet. I hope people start understanding social comm tech is there for us to use at our leisure, but shouldn’t control us. Couples sit on a couch and ignore each other for hours while half talking and giggling at other people. If it isn’t about the narcissism inherent in panicked content generation, it’s the passive spectatorship of a real live reality TV show with all the drama and idiocy that comes with your real life.

So it’s likely something almost everyone misses, or people once again chalk up to insufferable self-absorption… but I assure you what’s over their heads won’t be something that lessens the intent.
