Social Media Review Sites = a tool for fetid, fettered people that are sad about their lives and wish to take it out on businesses.

This is wholly hypothetical.  This is my ode to 80% of people who are on user generated travel or peer review sites.  This has nothing to do with anyone or anything, and was written esoterically and without a situation in mind.  It is simply the direction of social media I have seen as of late:

So, you are miserable human being.  Inside and out, you are a weak, sad little person.  Your spouse knows it.  The people you work with know it.  And you are so sad deep down *you* know it but won’t admit it because if you did it would take away your reason for living…. vilifying others in light of your misery.  Yeah..  I get.  We only deal with you for a moment or two out of our day, but you have to deal with yourself year in and out.  I cannot imagine.  The way you just made us feel… I am shocked you haven’t offed yourself.

Here is where the vitriol comes from… you have no backbone.  From all business owners out there trying to do good or make right or create solutions…. piss off.  Yeah.. i said it.

See…. we want things fixed.  We want things right.  Why would you come to our hotel, come to our restaurant, or try out our service and not have the common human decency to actually *TALK TO ONE OF OUR MANAGERS* while the issue is happening?

Who are you?  Are you irrevocably stupid?  Is it that you are so ugly it panics people?  Why wouldn’t you want to solve the situation as it happens rather than worthlessly tapping out your anger through a plastic keyboard?  Who does that help?

Oh wait… you aren’t looking for solutions.  Nor are you looking for help.  The reason you don’t want to solve the situation…. it’s because you don’t care.  You couldn’t give a rat’s ass if it was solved or not.  Nope. 

What is true is that you have absolutely no control in your life.  You don’t have options, you don’t have a job you enjoy, you don’t have goals or dreams or aspirations.  You have no ability to affect/effect any real positive change in anyone’s life.  You feel helpless, you feel pathetic, and you feel like there is nothing else you can do…. except…. bitch… about… something.
