Uhh.. from the American people, Rand… chill out. Everyone likes this, because privacy only exists when it serves *your* needs. The government isn’t big brother, and could never be so.

We’re big brother, and we’re the people we warned us about. Everyone has a spy device in their pocket, and whether it’s a senator on the take or cheating on his spouse, or a famous person drinking when they shouldn’t, or your neighbor moving property boundaries, etc….. Privacy is over because we will all big brother on everyone else, and we will all ditch our privacy when it helps us… in court with dashcam footage, etc.

Don’t sue anyone on my account, really. I am 100% pro-transparency, all the way, and privacy is mutually exclusive from that. Civil liberties is what we need to protect, but privacy is a vague, arcane 20th century privileged notion that never existed before, and will never exist again.

Stop being the defining feature of a liberterian: Liberals with guns, Republicans with Bongs…. too confused to think straight in a reality rooted in…. well, reality. Ideals are fun for teenagers tho.
