Why do I have this blog vs. just having *THIS ONE*?

Because on that one I can’t have non-cited, wildly loose musings on non data filled rambles.

But….

Are you guys paying attention to the ratio between “LIKED” & “RT” on blogs?

It’s ridiculous.

As you might expect:

The “Like” button seems to be “Liking” trashy bullshit – real lowest common denominator stuff. For example, “Woman gets pregnant from watching 3D Porn”

Anything tech/biz is all twitter, of course. It goes to figure… that networks based of relevant interests are bolstered by those interests… unlike the closed and personal FB world, which is starting to look like the afternoon television of social media. Facebook is the breeding and training ground for TMZ style information sharing… all gossip, no depth… because with a closed network there is no way to create positive networks that converse over similar interests. And don’t tell me to go like a page or group. That’s nonsense…. those things are barely active, for the most part.

But it is surprising… anything that actually involves the meta level of FB *NEVER* hits FB.

FB seems to be the cesspool Maury Povich of the internet, while Twitter is about real commerce, biz, etc. I mean… I know there is spam on Twitter, but the wagons circle around relevant corners of industrious and communicative professionals, artists, etc.

I also know this is somewhat hyperbolic, and without facts or lots of evidence and data it’s sort of moot. Maybe this will reach out to a wonderful data artist who can compile trends and make me a lovely infographic?

Pretty please? I love me some data.

Any thoughts on that?
